The Giro Eclipse Pro is Giro’s most advanced aerodynamic road helmet, created for riders who prioritise speed without wanting to sacrifice ventilation, comfort or protection. Developed using CFD analysis and validated in the wind tunnel, the Eclipse Pro is designed to deliver elite-level aerodynamic efficiency in an impressively lightweight package.

Giro claims the Eclipse Pro is 17% faster than the previous Eclipse, with a refined aerodynamic profile engineered to reduce drag across a wide range of riding positions. At approximately 280 g in size Medium, it combines aero performance with a weight more commonly associated with highly ventilated climbing helmets.

Protection is centred around Spherical Technology powered by Mips, featuring a ball-and-socket construction that allows the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during certain impacts, helping to redirect rotational forces away from the head.

Giro’s Progressive Layering uses dual-density EPS foam to provide more comprehensive energy management across different impact speeds, while the AURA II Reinforcing Arch adds structural strength without restricting ventilation.
